Key Responsibilities:
Leading multidisciplinary project teams across various sectors.
Review, produce, and coordinate high-quality technical design information across all RIBA Work Stages
Conduct site visits and act as a key representative of the practice.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities
Apply a practical, problem-solving approach to complex design challenges
Travel to project sites across the UK as required
Work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Requirements:
Skills and Experience
5 years of industry experience working as an architectural technologist, architectural technician or technically biased architect.
Architectural Technology degree or equivalent (UK recognised)
Sound understanding of Building Regulations and current construction legislation.
A strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects, preferably with schools, industrial or residential experience.
Experience in all phases of the design process, from conceptualisation to construction including site oversight.
Experience and confidence of operating within a client facing role.
Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.
Motivation to work as part of a team and to manage own time and workload
Excellent written and spoken English essential
ArchiCad experience beneficial but not essential as CAD / BIM support and training will be provided

Additional Information:
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours)
Location: Birmingham Office
Salary: £38,000-£48,000 (dependent on experience).
