We are looking for an Architectural Technologist who will transform architectural designs into detailed, technical plans and documents. The role will use CAD software to create accurate BIM level drawings, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring compliance with building codes. The role will also contribute to material specification, address technical design challenges, and may conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and attend design team meetings. Strong technical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with architects and other professionals is required. Our Architectural Technologists contribute significantly to the successful execution of architectural projects from concept to construction.

Applicants are required to have:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or a related field
  • Proficiency in CAD draughting (2D & 3D) & latest BIM Standards.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent technical knowledge, drawing and detailing skills.

Other essential information:

Hours: Full time (37.5 hours).

Contract: Permanent

Location: Birmingham or Leicester based.

Salary: £32,000 to £45,000
