Applicants are required to have:
10 years of industry experience with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects, preferably with schools, industrial or residential experience.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Good knowledge of all the RIBA work stages
A keep interest in high levels of design and detail
Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.
ArchiCad experience beneficial but not essential as CAD / BIM support and training will be provided
Key responsibilities:
Leading multidisciplinary project teams from concept through to completion
Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
Have strategic input into the wider direction of the office and practice
Review, produce, and coordinate high-quality technical design information across all RIBA Work Stages
Conduct site visits and represent the studio externally, promoting its vision and values within the industry.
Act as a key client liaison. Managing and fostering strong, productive relationships with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities
Apply a practical, problem-solving approach to complex design challenges
Travel to project sites across the UK as required
Work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Hours: Full time (37.5 hours)
Location: Leicester Office
Salary: £50-£65k
